Middle Tennessee · Long-term ownership

A thoughtful next chapter for a business worth preserving.

Johnson Holdings is a husband-and-wife-owned company in Middle Tennessee seeking to acquire and operate established service businesses for the long term.

We believe some of the best businesses are never formally listed for sale. Sometimes a conversation begins years before an owner is ready to make a transition.

01 · The people

Who We Are

We’re Michael and Jessica Johnson, a husband-and-wife team in Middle Tennessee building Johnson Holdings to acquire and care for established service businesses over the long term.

We are not a private equity fund, brokerage, or large investment group. We’re looking for a strong business where we can build on what already works, respect the relationships its owner has created, and approach the transition thoughtfully.

Our goal is long-term ownership and responsible stewardship.

02 · What we value

The Businesses We Appreciate

We are especially interested in established service businesses with a strong reputation, loyal customers, experienced employees, and work that customers need repeatedly.

Strong local reputation
Repeat or recurring customers
Experienced employees
Essential, route-based, or compliance-driven services
Straightforward operations
A history worth preserving

We care much more about finding a good business with good people than chasing trends or flashy growth stories.

03 · Stewardship

A Business Is More Than a Purchase Price

For many owners, a business represents decades of work, relationships with employees and customers, family history, and a reputation built one interaction at a time.

A thoughtful transition considers more than price. It also considers continuity, employees, customers, reputation, and what an owner wants the next chapter of the business to look like.

Those things matter to us too.

04 · Principles

Our Approach

Long-Term Ownership

We are looking for businesses we can own and build over time.

Respect for What Exists

We value strong businesses and want to build on what already works.

Thoughtful Transition

We are comfortable beginning a conversation well before an owner is ready to make a decision.

Confidentiality

Initial conversations are private, informal, and without obligation.

05 · Your timing

You Do Not Have to Be Ready to Sell

Many owners begin thinking about succession years before they are ready to step away. We believe there is value in getting to know one another before a decision has to be made.

If the future of your business is something you have started thinking about, we would be glad to introduce ourselves and learn more about what you have built.

06 · Get in touch

Start a Confidential Conversation

There is no expectation that the timing has to be right today. If you would ever be open to a conversation about the future of your business, we would be glad to hear from you.
